What the site is

MyCruiseForecast shows weather forecasts and typical conditions for cruise itineraries. It is an independent tool run by Wesley Hyduke and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any cruise line, port, weather service or government agency.

Not for navigation or safety decisions

Forecasts and typical conditions can be wrong, late or missing. Sea states and sea-day figures are estimates. Do not use the site for navigation, for deciding whether it is safe to travel, sail or go ashore, or for any other decision where a wrong answer could hurt someone. Follow your cruise line, the ship’s captain and official warnings.

Itineraries

Sailing schedules come from published information and change often. Ports, dates and times may differ from what your cruise line operates. Check with your cruise line.

No warranty, limited liability

The site and its data are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site, including missed ports, weather, or travel costs. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

Acceptable use

Use the site normally. Don’t overload it, bypass its limits, or send automated requests faster than a person would. The data API is part of the site and may be rate limited or blocked. Don’t copy the site’s data or pages in bulk or present them as your own.

Names and marks

Cruise line, ship, port and weather-service names and logos belong to their owners. They are used here only to say which sailing or place a forecast is about. Source credits and licences are listed on the About page.

Links and third parties

The site links to other sites and relies on third-party weather services. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or availability.

Changes

We may change the site or these terms. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms. Last updated October 9, 2026.
